High Barn Lofted Shed Delivery in Arkansas
We deliver sheds in Arkansas and set up and level the shed on blocks for you as well. If you are within a 50-mile radius of our dealers, our delivery is free! We charge a per-mile delivery fee if you are more than 50 miles from our dealers. Once our drivers deliver the shed, they will use a mule to place the shed at your specific location. There is no fee for site preparation. We will install the shed on concrete blocks that are leveled and secure. After that, we use a solid cap block to prevent the shed from getting out of level over time and also prevent termites and insects from crawling inside the pillar.
High Barn Interiors
Flooring
For the interior of this lofted shed, we use pressure-treated 2×6 floor joists 16″ on center, which supports your flooring and gives it strength. We use AdvanTech ⅝” tongue & groove flooring which makes the high barn more robust and gives it more durability than other standard flooring.
Roofing
For a sturdier and stronger lofted shed roof, the roof is designed to be incredibly sturdy with the barn-style layout. Because our roof is 16″ on center, the weight of the roof is distributed evenly. We utilize steel plates measuring 2.5″ by 4″ to connect the roof trusses, ensuring the creation of a robust roofing system.
Walls
Our walls are installed with 2×4 lumber and are spaced 16″ on center to give you walls that will withstand severe weather conditions. The loft is also standard in high barns (sometimes a double loft), which is what gives them the nickname “lofted sheds.” With our specific wall stud spacing, walls are 50% stronger than regular 24″ on center lumber. Not to mention that it increases the lifespan of this portable storage barn.
Safety
Our lofted sheds are built in accordance with Arkansas coding and regulations. You can also rest assured that your structure and the items inside will be safe because of our insulated fiberglass door with keys!
Siding
We use LP smart siding on our high barns, which is termite, fungus, and mold resistant. There are also other positives to using LP siding. For instance, this material does not crack or split over time. There are multiple colors for your design aesthetic. LP smart siding is resistant to severe weather damage such as snow, rain, and high winds. We caulk the nail heads after installing LP siding to give you the perfect finished look.
